The Event

Our 1st Annual “Chesterfield Freedom Festival, “Building Strength and Unity in Our Community” was created by the Vets on Foundation and River City Cruizers to celebrate the incredible contributions made by the men and women of the armed forces, and those who serve on the frontlines of Chesterfield’s neighborhoods…our first responders, doctors, nurses and community neighbors. This annual event will take place each October, reaching out to as many of our neighbors as possible. The festival will be an all day event, featuring lots of vendors, food, stage performances, car show, static displays by the armed services and first responders, and featured speakers throughout the day, plus more.

The MISSION

The Vets on Track Foundation and River City Cruizers are state and federally recognized 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations headquarted in Chesterfield, Virginia. Together, our mission is to support Special Olympics, our veterans and first responders transitioning into permanent housing from living on the streets through the Vets on Track Foundation’s “Beyond the Streets” program, as well as other missions.
