Beyond the Streets Initiative

Veteran homelessness remains a critical issue affecting communities nationwide, demanding comprehensive support systems for lasting solutions. Transitioning from homelessness to permanent housing poses significant challenges, highlighting the necessity for more than just shelter provision.

The key to addressing the root causes lies in rebuilding self-esteem, dignity, and purpose to effectively break the cycle of homelessness. For over a decade, the Vets on Track Foundation has collaborated with homeless agencies in Virginia, Washington DC, Southern Maryland, and Northern North Carolina, empowering veterans with essential tools for a successful transition to permanent housing post-homelessness.

With a track record of assisting over 1500 veterans on their post-homelessness journey, our commitment remains unwavering. However, we recognize that our mission requires a collective effort as we can not tackle this issue on our own. We extend an invitation to you to join us in making a difference and contributing to the change we strive to accomplish.

Understanding the significance of making a positive impact, our foundation has crafted a proposal, the “Beyond the Streets Initiative,” aimed at reducing homelessness and supporting veterans and their families in reclaiming their lives. This initiative seeks to rally support from the American public, corporate entities, Fraternal and Veteran Service Organizations to address furniture and household accessory needs nationwide.

Together, through unity and collaboration, we can progress towards ending homelessness and providing our deserving veterans with the assistance they need. Become a part of the initiative by clicking on the link below
