Connect America 2016

Jan 11, 2016

Garrisonville - Stafford, Virginia January 10, 2016 – Communities become stronger when its citizens pull together in support of one another. Our Nation is stronger when communities unite in support of a cause. We have seen this country come together under the best and worst of times…and when we combine our strength as a Nation…as a people…we are unstoppable. There is no other country like it on the planet. When Americans set their minds to “get it done”…they simply…“get it done.”

“On Armed Forces Day, May 21, 2016 – backed with the support of businesses from Stafford, Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania and the surrounding area, the Vets on Track Foundation and our community, will play a small role in helping reunite this country,” said Rick Ecker, Founder and CEO of the Vets on Track Foundation. “Like most all-American ingenuity, it doesn’t take a big elaborate plan…in this case; all it takes is a t-shirt, a place to wear it and brotherhood,” Ecker added.

The Connect America 2016 campaign is about uniting our Nation…all on one special day – Armed Forces Day 2016! Through a specially designed t-shirt and special Connect America events at places like Georgetown Cupcakes, Hooters, Buffalo Wild Wings and other mom and pop establishments all across the country, we can Connect America and help raise awareness about some of the critical issues facing our country.

“Think about it, special events honoring our veterans and first responders and a simple patriotic t-shirt can go a long way in uniting a Nation…one community at a time,” said Ecker. “A t-shirt can carry the strength of a country…comradery and brotherhood can deliver hope,” he added. The Vets on Track Foundation’s Connect America 2016 campaign is about bringing this country together in support of our veterans and first responders who have served and continue to serve our country and communities with honor and distinction. By sharing in a common cause, we are able to unite our neighbors, and strengthen the bond within our communities.

“At 8 p.m. EST at a special Gala right in Fredericksburg, we will connect live to events all across the country…truly Connecting America,” said Ecker. “Our goal, with the help of local businesses, is to have 1,000,000 people wearing the special t-shirt, on the same day – at the same time, and set a World Record. We want to show the World how we can come together as a Nation in support of our veterans and first responders…our neighbors. Connect America 2016 is about standing next to your neighbor, all on the same day, in communities all across the country… showing your patriotic spirit and unity through your Connect America 2016 t-shirt. By wearing the Connect America 2016 t-shirt on Armed Forces Day, you will be doing your part in bringing important issues affecting our veterans, first responders, and our country to the forefront.

We hope you see the value in purchasing a Connect America 2016 t-shirt…knowing that each sale will go to support the Vets on Track Foundation and other veteran and first responder focused organizations. We are also looking for more corporate sponsors for the Gala and Connect America campaign. Email Rick@VetTrack.org for more information.
